Many thanks are sent out to Bob Miller and 860 KPAM for once again seeing the needs of our Military and their families.
This year's Operation Santa Claus raised over $134,000. We are so thankful for the tremendous generosity of our donors who dig down deep to help families of our deployed troops who are fighting for the less fortunate of this world.

Salvation Army Offers Shovels and Comfort at burned-out home sites.
| As people begin returning to their neighborhoods to begin sifiting through the ashes where their home stood, The Salvation Army is transitioning from feeding evacuees at fixed sites to sending roving units into the burned-out neighboorhoods.

Charitable Checkoff Recertification No Longer Needed!
 | This week the Army learned that, due to changes in Senate Bill 859, they are no longer required to submit the 10,000 signatures.
"This is great news!" commented David Swanson, Divisonal Development Director for The Salvation Army. "It takes a lot of work to gather that many signatures. Now we can use that energy for more urgent needs." |
